We print on a business card sized envelope, so please keep your wording to 50 words or less.How long will it take to get my order?Each pretzel is hand-dipped to order, and may take up to 7-10 business days to receive, so plan accordingly. During busy holiday seasons, it may take longer, please call for overnight shipping.How much is shipping?What if they break or melt during shipment?Breakage and melting are hazards with shipping any delicate chocolate item. We take every precaution to prevent this, however if you receive a damaged parcel, please let us know and we will do our best to fix the issue.What are they made of?All of our pretzels are dipped in caramel and rolled in a variety of ingredients, then drenched in various types of chocolate. Toppings are as varied as pecans, Oreo cookies, dried fruits, cereals etc., so specific ingredients are hard to list. If you are concerned about a food allergy, or want to know further information about any of our ingredients, please call us directly and we will read the ingredients to you.How are they made?Each pretzel rod is dipped by hand into a warm, gooey batch of melted caramel. Then, we roll this sticky stick into fresh ingredients and then, as if that wasn't enough, we spoon hot, melted chocolate on top and sprinkle even more toppings and wait for the chocolate to set. Once the chocolate has set up, we drizzle with even more chocolate. How many calories?If you need to ask this, you're on the wrong website. :)Where are they made?DipSticks Gourmet Pretzels are made in a Board of Health approved, licensed facility in Fort Wayne, Indiana.What is the difference between DipSticks and other dipped pretzels?First of all, no one beats the size of our pretzels. We pack on a whoppin' quarter pound of goodness on each 8" pretzel, and 2 ounces is somehow crammed onto our 4" pretzel. Also, we have the pretzel, the caramel, the goodies, AND the chocolate. Many of our competitors left out Why are my pretzels different sizes?Our pretzel rods are purchased from Andersen Bakery, and sometimes pretzels come in varying sizes. We have no control over this, but don't worry, they still taste the same!Wow, they are expensive!We realize it seems like $3.50 is a lot to pay for a little pretzel. However, each pretzel is dipped carefully by hand by one of our trained dipping specialists. You won't find a single conveyer belt in our facility. Our unique flavor combinations won't be found anywhere either, which makes these little treasures a one-of-a-kind treat or gift. But, if none of that proves to you that we're worth or weight in gold...then it will be our customer service that does, and it will keep you coming back. We feel that customer service has become a dying practice, and we are proud to be bringing it back! I weighed my pretzel, and it doesn't weigh the same as what the package says.All weights are approximate. Due to the nature of our ingredients some things weigh more than others, and since our pretzels are hand dipped, we have no exact measuring system. Some pretzels may also weigh more than what is on the package. We do try to keep all pretzels to the same size, but if you are at all unhappy please call us for a replacement.I can't finish the whole thing!Hmmmm....now that is a problem. You could always share, or seal in an airtight container and save for a rainy day! Who is Christy Smith?Christy Smith is the founder/CEO of DipSticks Gourmet Pretzels. She came up with this idea in 1999, but didn't turn it into a business until 2003, with her first large order coming from her husband's employer. Since then, this mother of two has continued growing DipSticks with hopes of becoming the Baskin Robbins of the pretzel world! With over 50 flavors...we might be on to something big!What are her skills?Christy graduated from Indiana University, Purdue University at Fort Wayne with a Bachelor's Degree in Communication. She used her degree in several key positions including marketing director, fundraising coordinator, advertising manager and customer service with local companies.She ran several businesses prior to DipSticks as well, with her most memorable being a gourmet dog treat business called Lucky Dog Cafe. These businesses allowed Christy to gain the valuable experience needed to run DipSticks, but also gave her a lot of contacts in the industry that she continues to value today.
